1965?

I was not alive for the civil rights movement but I can only imagine that this is how it must have felt.  This march was a peaceful one with over 100,000 people from around the world converging to send a solidarity message of climate action.  The police were extremely violent and over-reactive.  I saw a young woman, no older than 24 get hit in the face by the police with a billy club because she was not moving fast enough (even though she was trapped by the crowd).  Unacceptable.

Fortunately 95% of the march was not like this scene.
